Project Managers are increasingly expected to do more than deliver the plan. They need to understand why the work matters, connect execution to strategy and help teams make sound choices as business conditions change.

In this virtual PMI Austin Lunch & Learn, Suzanne Oudit, PMP, PMI-ACP, will show how Project Managers can take a more active seat at the business table. Through practical examples and guided reflection, she will explore how to connect the why, the lean canvas and the project objective statement so projects stay grounded in business goals, organizational capabilities and customer value.

You’ll leave with practical ways to strengthen strategic alignment, communicate outcomes in business-focused language and reassess direction when priorities shift, helping your projects stay relevant, adaptive and focused on value.

You’ll learn how to:

  • Connect the project why, lean canvas and project objective statement to business goals and capabilities.
  • Articulate project objectives and outcomes in business-focused language that links delivery to strategy and customer value.
  • Evaluate shifts in business direction and decide when to realign, reprioritize or pivot to protect value delivery.
