Volunteer with PMI Austin to build leadership skills, expand your network, and give back to Austin’s project management community. Check out our available opportunities. If you don't see a role that fits your interests, complete our Volunteer Interest Form below to share your interests, skills, and availability. We'll reach out to share information about future volunteer opportunities. Qualifying volunteer service may also earn professional development units (PDUs).

How to Apply for Open Volunteer Roles

Follow the instructions below to see our current roles.

To get started:

  1. Sign in to your PMI.org account.VEP-portal-image.png
  2. Click your profile in the upper-right corner of the page and select Volunteer. This will open the Volunteer Engagement Platform (VEP).
  3. Select PMI Austin Chapter to view our current volunteer opportunities.
  4. Browse available roles and apply for the opportunities that match your interests and availability.
  5. Watch your email for updates. You'll receive notifications about your application, and a PMI Austin Board Member will contact you regarding next steps if you're selected to move forward.

Tip: Keep your profile up to date and check back regularly for new volunteer opportunities, as new opportunities are added throughout the year.
