Chapter Meeting Details

PMI Austin Chapter hosts monthly dinner meetings where members can network and earn Professional Development Units (PDUs) by attending the presentations. The meetings typically have an attendance of between 150 and 200 people and consist of networking, dinner, chapter business, and a guest speaker. The purposed of the meetings is to provide educational and informative programs on trends in project management, as well as opportunities to network with others who share your interest in project management.

WHO: Meetings can be attended by both members and non-members; members will receive a discount. Please note we are unable to accept on site registrations so please register in advance. Registration closes the Monday prior to the event at 6:00 p.m. If you have paid for your PMI Austin Chapter Membership within the past 48 hours, register as a guest and self-report the PDUs.

WHAT: The educational portion of the program will feature a one-hour presentation (1 PDU) or a two-hour workshop (2 PDUs). Speakers and Topics are posted under the Calendar. PDUs for members who have had their badges scanned will automatically be posted within 10 business days of the monthly chapter meeting. WHEN: Meetings are typically held on the fourth Tuesday of the month. Networking begins at 5:30 p.m. and Dinner commences in the Atrium at 6:00 p.m. You may choose to purchase dinner with your meeting registration (please note: dinner cutoff date is Thursday at 8:00 p.m. the week prior to meeting). A brief business meeting will convene in the during the dinner from 6:15 p.m. - 6:45 p.m. Presentations begin at 7:00 p.m. 

WHERE: NEW LOCATION! Meetings are held in North Austin at the Norris Conference Centers. Free Parking for our members is available onsite.
