Jen Emswiler, PMP, is the Founder and CEO of Thought Leader. Thought Leader aims to bring mindfulness to teams and individuals that previously had limited access to world-class mindfulness tools and techniques. Jen graduated summa cum laude from James Madison University with her Bachelor’s in Social Work, where she was the recipient of the James Madison University Academic Scholar of the Year Award.

Jen first leveraged the power of mindfulness as a Social Worker in the DC Metro area where she worked to improve the mental health of individuals and families facing profound challenges. She partnered with community leaders to implement numerous programs focused on professional development, securing employment, improving literacy and providing free healthcare for homeless women and children.

Jen was a Technical Project Manager in the Global Digital Technology Department at Whole Foods Market, where she launched Amazon's Prime Now Delivery and Pickup service. She is a popular guest lecturer at the University of Texas’ Project Management Certificate Program.

Jen is the host of the From Jen To Zen podcast, a Certified Yoga and Meditation Instructor, and a Certified Life Coach.

Jen was born and raised in Washington, DC, but now proudly embraces her weirdness in Austin, TX with her husband Joe and their two dogs, Monster and Bronco. She spends as much time as she can exploring new places, trying new food, keeping her plants alive and discovering great coffee. Her hope is to inspire you, encourage you and empower you to begin your journey with mindfulness.
