Ready to grow as a leader—personally and professionally? Join the PMI Austin Chapter for our June Book Club meeting as we dive into Leveling Up by Ryan Leak. This thought-provoking read redefines leadership as an inside job—rooted in self-awareness, intentional growth, and honest reflection. 

Leak invites us to lead not by having all the answers, but by asking better questions. Through twelve powerful prompts, he challenges readers to understand how they show up for others, what they truly value, and how they can influence with authenticity and heart. 

Leveling Up is a personal and professional development guide that emphasizes that true leadership starts with self-leadership—knowing yourself, asking the right questions, and taking ownership of your growth. Instead of needing all the answers, success comes from strategic introspection and seeking honest feedback from others. Through twelve strategic questions, Leak helps readers clarify who they are, what they want to achieve, and how they can better influence those around them. 

Some of the twelve questions include: 

• What is it like to be around me? (The Self-Awareness Question) 

• What credit can I give away? (The Team Player Question) 

• Who knows who I really am? (The Transparency Question) 

• What's my definition of success? (The Vision Question) 

• Do I have to do it all? (The Rest Question) 

• Am I enjoying it? (The Fun Question)
