Jorge V. Gonzalez

How do you reinvent yourself in the face of tragedy? How do you transition from the life you’ve always known and move yourself, as well as your hopes and dreams, in a new direction? Jorge Gonzalez’s #1 bestselling new book Answer The Call: Life Lessons From Family Origins Through Invention And Struggle provides real-world answers to those questions.

When Jorge Gonzalez became disabled and unable to do the work he’d spent two decades of his life perfecting, he was confronted with the pressing need to find a new path forward. Rather than giving in to anger and grief, he took inspiration from his parents and grandparents, people who understood the need to take calculated risks in order to leave a brighter future for their children. This is the lesson that Jorge passes on to readers in his fascinating new book Answer The Call, that with the right mindset, what seems like a terrible setback can be transformed into a step on the path to finding your true purpose in life.

I spent 20 years in the warehouse distribution and logistics industry before becoming disabled. When I became disabled, I had to reinvent myself and transition into the real estate industry. I am currently a real estate agent with helping families create generational wealth. I am also the inventor of a batting machine for baseball and softball that we named The Batting Pro.
