This month’s title: The Six Conversations: Pathways to Connecting in an Age of Isolation and Incivility by Dr. Heather Holleman.
In this book, Dr. Holleman addresses the growing epidemic of loneliness and the importance of fostering meaningful connections. Her work demonstrates how we can develop an authentic community by changing our relational mindsets to become more curious, to believe the best about others, to express concern about their lives, and to share our own.
Dr. Holleman also introduces the Four Mindsets of a Loving Conversation and the Three Fresh Goals for Conversation, along with the essential training needed to engage in meaningful dialogues. Readers will gain practical tools, including effective questions, self-assessments, and actionable steps that can be applied right away in both personal and professional settings.
