TITLE | Navigating the Challenges of AI Development: Accuracy, Latency, and User Interfaces |
Description of Presentation
|
In this engaging presentation, we delve into the intricacies of developing AI applications, focusing specifically on three core challenges: ensuring the accuracy of generative AI responses, managing latency, and moving beyond chatbot-style interfaces to develop more interactive user experiences. First, we will explore the importance of accuracy in generative AI and discuss potential pitfalls and strategies to overcome them. This includes a deep dive into the role of external data sources and “context management”. Next, we tackle the often-overlooked issue of latency in AI applications. We will analyze its impact on user experience and operational efficiency, and brainstorm on ways to effectively manage it without sacrificing the benefits of AI. Last, we will challenge the conventional reliance on chatbot-style interfaces in AI applications. We will examine alternative user interface models that promote greater user interaction, thereby enhancing user engagement and satisfaction. |
