The presentation is on "Using Data Analytics for Better Decision Making". The session aims to educate project managers on the importance of data analytics, covering various types such as descriptive, diagnostic, predictive, and prescriptive analytics. The presentation includes an introduction, an overview of the role of data analytics in project management, a detailed explanation of the data analytics process, and a showcase of popular tools like Excel, Power BI, and AI tools. It also features case studies, an interactive Q&A session, and a wrap-up with additional resources. The presentation emphasizes practical applications, real-life examples, and encourages audience engagement through discussions and questions. 

Learning Objectives 

 

  1. By the end of the presentation, 80% of attendees will be able to define and differentiate between descriptive, diagnostic, predictive, and prescriptive analytics, as measured by a post-presentation quiz
  2. Within one month after the presentation, at least three project managers will implement a new data visualization tool (e.g., Power BI or Tableau) in their projects, as verified by follow-up surveys.
  3. During the presentation, engage 50% of the attendees in the Q&A session to share experiences or ask questions about using data analytics in their projects.

As a seasoned Business Analyst and Product Manager, he has led projects in various industries, including technology, finance, healthcare, and e-commerce. His expertise includes requirements gathering, stakeholder management, process improvement, and agile methodologies. As an accomplished Product Owner, Wale is known for leading cross-functional teams and overseeing product development from conception to launch, ensuring alignment with business goals and exceptional user experiences. 

In addition to his executive role, Wale is a passionate educator, teaching courses in business analysis. He shares his extensive knowledge and practical insights with aspiring professionals, making complex concepts accessible and engaging. His teaching approach is characterized by clarity and relevance, helping students gain the skills needed to excel in their careers. 

Wale holds a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology and is a certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) and Certified SAFe® 5 Product Owner/ Product Manager (POPM). He is actively involved in the International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA) and frequently participates in industry conferences and workshops. His contributions to the field are recognized through his thought leadership and commitment to continuous learning.
