As a lifelong learner, she is passionate about teaching, coaching, mentoring, and motivating others to achieve personal and professional growth. In her servant leadership role in Product Offering Management (POM) at Houghton Mifflin Harcourt (HMH), an EdTech company where she has worked for over 20 years, Wilonda leads her team in bridging business strategy with on-time, impactful product deliverables that drive both customer and company success.

Wilonda has cultivated strong internal and external relationships, ensuring reciprocity and purpose at the core of her network. She currently serves as the 2024 President of the PMI Austin Chapter, building on her tenure as the 2020 Vice President of Professional Development and PDS Director.

Wilonda’s extensive experience, leadership, and dedication make her a sought-after speaker and mentor in career development and leadership.

A former Army officer, he transitioned to private-sector leadership at Applied Materials, managing a $1.6 billion global service operation with 3,000+ engineers across 13 countries, driving lean transformations and operational excellence. Since then, he has consulted on 100+ projects,delivering over $250 million in ROI for clients in technology, semiconductors, solar, and manufacturing. A PMP-certified professional since 2015, Mike is an advocate for professional development, serving as VP of Outreach for PMI Austin to support career growth for project managers. He holds a B.S. from West Point, an MBA in Technology Management, and completed executive studies at Stanford. With 15,000 LinkedIn followers and 400,000+ content impressions, he influences a global professional audience with insights on technology, leadership, and career strategies.
