Fueled by Austin’s recent growth, the construction marketplace is robust. The technologies needed to support this growth are developing at a rapid pace. This month's chapter meeting will focus on Austin Construction as it interfaces with with project management, technology, leadership, and academia. Saturday exam preparation courses are designed to help students pass the PMP® or CAPM® exam. The 40-hour course, based on the PMBoK® Guide ed.6, is taught over five Saturdays and meets the 35-hour requirement for PMP® certification. Cost: $1,095 for PMI Austin Chapter members ($1,195 for non-members)
PMI AUSTIN CHAPTER SCHOLARSHIP
The PMI Austin Chapter Scholarship includes three academic scholarships valued at up to US $2,500 each and is sponsored by the PMI Austin Chapter.
In order to be considered eligible for a scholarship, applicants must be enrolled in or applying to a project management degree program or a related field. For more information, visit PMI Austin Chapter Scholarship.
PMP® EXAM PREP SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM
The Education Office of PMI Austin Chapter offers our unemployed members free tuition for our Saturday PMP® Exam Prep classes. Only the material costs will be required ($250). Students are encouraged to pay the remaining tuition ($845) to the Scholarship Fund once they find employment. To apply, contact Geoff West at [email protected]
