Creating an Irresistible Resume

• This hands-on workshop provides step-by-step guidance, tools, and in-class exercises for you to be able to update or create your resume on your own. Your instructor will teach you to use the STAR/SAR Technique to develop strong achievement statements and keywords to meet the requirements of the three gatekeepers successfully: Applicant Tracking Systems, Recruiters/HR, and the hiring manager.

Accelerate Your Job Search with LinkedIn

• In this session, we will review your LinkedIn settings, learn tips on building your network, develop an understanding of how to set up your LinkedIn profile, and learn Search Engine Optimization (SE) techniques to enhance your discover-ability.

Interview Like a Rock Star

• Your instructor provides guidance and instructions on how to improve your interviewing skills. Your instructor will help you build responses to some of the most frequently asked questions. You will also learn how you can use the Sandwich and STAR/SAR Techniques to respond to challenging questions.

Job Searching During Covid-19 and a Recessed Economy

• Even with our troubled economy, companies are still looking for employees. The good news is that there are options for you to land a job successfully. The other good news is that hiring managers know the reason why so many people are out of work right now, so the adage that “it’s easier to get a job when you have a job” might be thrown out the window. In this session, you will learn how to fine-tune and speed up your job search.
