Presentation Title: The Enemy of Leadership

Ego is the enemy of great leadership. When we’re a victim of our own need to be seen as great, we end up being led into making decisions that may be detrimental to ourselves, our people, and our organization. Leadership is about people, and people change every day. If we believe we’ve found the universal key to leading people, we’ve just lost it. If we let our ego determine what we see, what we hear, and what we believe, we’ve let our past success damage our future success. This interactive program discusses practices for developing leadership as a gift.

About the Food

PMI provides food from local restaurants prior to each event. In the past, we have had food from Freebirds and the Corner Bakery. If you have a special request for dietary needs, please e-mail the lunchNlearn@pmiaustin.org. We will do our best to accommodate the need, but not all requests will be possible with the given vendor.
