Presentation Title: Introduction to Agile and Scrum

Everyone is talking about becoming more agile in both business and application development. But what is agile? In this brief introduction, you'll learn the definition of what really agile means, along with other terms like MVP and Scrum. You'll also gain an understanding about what it's like to plan and execute an agile project. Since most agile development teams focus on scrum, we'll do a deep dive into how you practice scrum and what's different between scrum and more traditional project management methods.

Cynthia is co-author of the GSD Scrum Handbook and co-founder of the agile consulting company GSD Mindset, where she teaches Scrum in 1 Day and coaches teams as they transition to agile, leaving their waterfall ways behind.
