Learning from Failure

Our lives require us to make decisions and take action at an unprecedented rate. We do our best, but often find difficulties in translating our intentions into reality or fail at achieving our expectations.

What if we could increase our ability to bounce back from situations of failure? Can we mature our emotions so as to process failure more freely? Can we fundamentally learn from failure, and come back stronger to achieve our goals?

This presentation will challenge you to do just that. In this session, you'll learn about:

  •          Failure and learning and how they relate
  •          The (neuroscience behind) process of learning
  •          Applying the SCARF model to connect with and influence others
  •          The drama triangle: 3 unfavorable roles we often use when processing situations
  •          How to use cognitive reappraisal to improve your ability to connect and learn
  •          Leading change using these constructs: failure, insights, patterns, lessons, and commitments
  •          A simple process to make transformation happen, step-by-step
