VP of Finance

Candidate: Anthony Jones, PMP, MBA

Anthony JonesI’m Anthony and currently live in Austin where I graduated from St. Edward’s University in both Accounting and English Literature. I’ve also earned an MBA with a concentration in Finance from Texas A&M University. Although originally from outside of Los Angeles, I’ve lived in Texas most of my life but have traveled extensively during my career both domestically and internationally. While working as a management and technical consultant, I lived in London and Amsterdam and traveled throughout Europe for several high-tech product companies and professional services firms. For nearly ten years, I worked in pricing and revenue management, helping companies improve their profits or market share. I’ve since returned to consulting in the ERP, CRM, and data warehousing domain areas. So I’ve had a lot of experience analyzing business problems, implementing software solutions, and managing organizations. I have many interests besides business including reading, running, swimming, and traveling. I also dabble in digital photography and write when I get the chance. Besides the outdoorsy and artsy stuff, I really like learning about new technology and software—an occupational advantage I guess. I also love the outdoors and hope to move back west but somewhere in the Pacific Northwest near the mountains and Seattle. But since I’m a lifelong Astros fan, I won’t be cheering for the Mariners—at least when they play the Astros—but always look forward to a game at Minute Maid Park in Houston.
